Bill of Pots
Throughout the semester I overcame my inadequacy of trimming. My main theme was lighter colors with a few pieces containing writing that was appealing to my interests. I learned a lot in pots this year, before the class I had zero knowledge of how to throw, now I can craft a plate or bowl whenever I need.
This is the 'off white' plate that I made. It is mimicked by a street wear brand. As you can see I had a white glazing, with in black scripted "PLATE"
This work here is a smaller plate that was crafted with a pink glazing. On the plate there is the phrase "Bill of Pots" throughout the duration of ceramics there was a constitution made called the bill of pots. So, I thought it would be creative to write this on one of my pieces.
This right here is a bowl that was created to give the appeal of a simplistic look. Nothing can go wrong with a white glazed bowl!
